We work for all levels of quilt makers from beginners to professionals.

Each quilter works alone on her family farm.

A confirmation postcard is sent upon quilt arrival and most quilts are completed within 4 months.

PREPARATION: It is best to prewash all fabrics in your quilt. Send your top, batting and backing; the batting and backing must be at least 4" larger than the top. Tell us exactly how you want your top quilted or let our experts decide the quilting designs best suited to your top. No marking is required for in-the-ditch quilting, 1/4" from seam quilting or echo quilting. Press quilt top and backing, clip all threads and use quilting quality cotton only for the backing, no bed sheets. Do not baste as rolling quilt frames are used and do not require quilt basting. White, natural and black thread is provided. If you desire other colors please send them along.

COST: Quilting Plus charges $1.40 per yard of thread, so you pay for exactly the amount of thread and workmanship put into your quilt. Upon billing the quilter's name, yards of thread and any other services provided are itemized. An average queen size quilt runs approximately $300.00 to $375.00 for the quilting.

DEPOSIT: $100.00 for up to a twin size quilt and $150.00 for a double or larger size.

MARKING: Design marking costs range from $20.00 to $75.00 depending on the quilt size, fabric design and complexity of the quilting design.

BINDING: Send the fabric for the binding, we will cut it to size. The cost is $22.00 per 100" for French fold binding and $27.00 for bias binding.

SHIPPING, HANDLING & INSURANCE: Quilts will be returned via UPS unless requested otherwise; approximate cost is $23.00.
